Nancy returned to graduate school at North Carolina Central University and received a Masters Degree in Communication Disorders. She has experience evaluating and treating both children and adults but her passion is working with pediatric populations. She has worked in a variety of settings including public schools, skilled nursing, and the hospital.
Nancy has completed training in pediatric feeding disorders assessment/intervention, as well as, esophageal dysphasia and it?s impact on feeding and swallowing function. She has experience in working with augmentative communication devices, early intervention, language delays/disorders, articulation and phonological processing disorders, Apraxia and Autism. Nancy enjoys partnering with families and children to ensure the child is reaching his/her communication potential.
She is licensed by the board of NC and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association.
