Pilot data comapring scores for the Gross Motor Function Measure (GMFM) when adminstered via videoconferencing and on site were presented at the Annual Conference of the American Physical Therapy Association in Anahiem California. These data are encouraging about the potential of interactive video for accurate obsrevatal assessment of functional movement. The pilot also provides a workable model for further study of the validity of assessments conducted via videoconferencing. The poster, " Validity of Interactive Videoconferencxing Technology to Ealuate a Child with Cerebral Palsy: A Pilot Study" was authored by Delane Frutiger, PT, Janeen Bogue, PT, Dale Healy, and Darlene Sekerak, PT, PhD.
