General information about
The Raleigh CDSA provides service coordination, evaluations, and intervention (through a network of local service providers)for children ages birth to three who are at risk for or have developmental delays and meet eligibility criteria of the North Carolina Infant Toddler Program, under the Individual's with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). Referrals can be made by parents, physicians, Child Service Coordinators, therapists, or other community agencies. Direct services are provided in the child's natural environment (settings that are used by all children) and include service coordination, developmental therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech/language therapy, and referrals to other needed resources and supports.

Geographic Areas Served: all areas of Wake County
Fee Information/Insurance Accepted: Some services are provided at no charge to families, while others are provided through a network of local provider agencies based on a sliding fee scale. Medicaid is billed; private insurance is billed with the family's permission.
Location Services Provided: In the child's natural environment (home, daycare, park, etc.).

Language Services Provided: Some CDSA staff are bilingual in Spanish and English. Interpreters are provided for services provided by CDSA staff, including evaluations and service coordination.
