THINGS TO DISCUSS WITH YOUR DOCTOR
Major causes of gas in your child's digestive tract include swallowing air, or taking in food or drink that produces gas (carbonated beverages, beans, etc.)
The most common medical condition associated with increased gas production is lactose (a sugar found in dairy products) intolerance.
Simethicone has no know side effects and no interactions with other medications.
Drops can be mixed with water, infant formula, or other liquids.
Call your doctor if, in addition to stomach pain, your child also has loose or bloody stools or weight loss, as these may be signs of more serious stomach and intestine problems.
