Pbskids.org is an example of a number of learning activity web sites for children. This site allows the child to choose a cartoon character to lead them to interesting learning games and activities including matching tasks, mazes, connect the dots, and picture story creations. There are books, music, games, and activities for a range of ages and abilities. All these tasks are managed with a simple point and click. My own 5 year old grandson found the site engaging for nearly an hour. The site also links to sites for parents and teachers.
