Biography:

This local Family Support Network Parent to Parent program can provide a one-on-one parent match with a trained support parent for emotional support, assistance in finding community resources, and sharing parenting experiences. The program offers a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) support group, a Haywood county support group, a Madison county support group, and an Inclusion support group for parents interested in learning more about inclusion. Family Support Network of Western North Carolina also holds training for support parents, has an annual family fun day and publishes a quarterly newsletter.
