services/agency: | We offer an extensive variety of services for children birth to 3 years of age and their families. Services include: developmental therapy, family training and education, advocacy provided by Child Development Specialists with experience working with a variet of diagnoses including, but not limited to: autism, Cerebral Palsy, traumatic brain injury, shaken baby syndrome, Down syndrome, Fragile X, medically fragile children, and premature babies showing global delays and/or who are medically fragile. As well as treatment approaches such as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Verbla Behavior, and DIR/Floortime techniques.
Specialized therapies offered by an occupational therapist, speech/language therapist, physical therapist and/or psychologist address issues with feeding, sensory integration, augmentative and alternative communication (high & low tech), dysphagia, language delay, apraxia, articulation disorder, oral-motor therapy, behavioral issues, splinting, positioning, and adaptive equipment.
Services are provided in the natural environment - in the home, preschool, or child care center. Depending on need, developmental therapy play groups are an option.
