The Developmental Day Center provides an inclusive center-based program for children from 18 months to six years of age with, or at risk for, developmental disabilities and for children who are typically developing. The center is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Teacher to child ratio is 1:4 for toddlers and 1:6 for all other ages. The center has a five-star rating from the North Carolina Division of Child Development and has earned accreditation from NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children). For the 2011-12 School Year, Learning Together will operate 10 classrooms giving us the ability to serve more children than ever before! Learning Together is a contract agency of Wake County Public Schools. Learning Together's Mission is to meet the developmental, educational, and health needs of young children of all abilities. Membership Affiliations: Learning Together is proud to be a 5-Star center and a National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) accredited program. We are a member of the North Carolina Association of Directors of Developmental Day Centers. We are a non-profit agency and a member of the United Way of the Greater Triangle.We are also a member agency of Growing Together - the Wake County Local Interagency Council. We are a contract agency for Wake County Public Schools and Wake County Human Services - DD Services.

Fee Information/Insurance Accepted: The tuition for children who are typically developing is $1,010 per month. There is no cost to families whose children receive special education services through our contract with Wake County Public Schools. They have the option to access before and after school care for a tuition fee. Learning Together has a limited scholarship program and accepts child care vouchers from the Wake County Department of Social Services.
Location Services Provided: Center-based program. We have 5 classrooms at 568 East Lenoir Street and 5 partnership classrooms. 2 partner classrooms are with Telamon Head Start - 1 at 568 East Lenoir Street in their Crosby Center and 1 in Knightdale at their Todd Road Center. We have 3 partner classrooms with Method Child Development Center on Trailwood Drive in Raleigh near NCSU.
Modalities of Services Provided: Full day, inclusive classroom based. Children served through our Wake County Public Schools contract receive speech, occupational and physical therapy as indicated on the IEP. Other related services are offered as needed such as those for visual impairments.
Language Services Provided: Learning Together has a interpreter available and bilingual teachers.
