COMMON USES:
Used to treat movement disorders like fluctuating muscle tone and rigidity.

HOW IT'S SUPPLIED:
0.125-, 0.25- , 0.5-, 1-, and 1.5-milligram tablets.

HOW IT WORKS:
A dopamine agonist, this medication directly activates receptors in the brain to improve abnormal muscle tone and movements.

THINGS TO DISCUSS WITH YOUR DOCTOR:
?Most common side effects are nausea, sleeplessness, constipation, involuntary movement, dizziness upon standing, and hallucinations.
?Use with caution in children with kidney disease.
?Take with food or milk to reduce stomach upset.
