COMMON USES:
Used to treat itchiness associated with allergic reactions.
Helps control nausea and vomiting from car sickness.
Used to treat anxiety.

HOW IT'S SUPPLIED:
10-, 25-, 50- and 100- milligram tablets
10 milligram per 5 milliliter liquid
25 milligram per milliliter syrup

HOW IT WORKS:
This medicine decreases the effects of histamine, a chemical the body releases that narrows air passages in the lungs and contributes to inflammation. In this way, it reduce itching and swelling and dries up secretions from the nose, eyes, and throat.
It also causes drowsiness and relaxation, which can help in cases of car sickness and anxiety.

THINGS TO DISCUSS WITH YOUR DOCTOR:
* Can cause drowsiness and dry mouth.
* Tremors, and/or seizures may happen with higher doses of medicine.
* Not to be used for long periods of time(months).
