COMMON USES:
Used as a laxative to help with constipation.
Used with activated charcoal for overdose and/or ingestions to help charcoal clear the poison from the body.

HOW IT'S SUPPLIED:
Solution (70% concentration)

HOW IT WORKS:
Since sorbitol is not absorbed into the body, it pulls liquid into the intestines, making the stool swell. The bulkier stool stimulates bowel movements.

THINGS TO DISCUSS WITH YOUR DOCTOR:
* Using too much sorbitol can cause gas, stomach cramping and/or diarrhea.
* There are no known drug interactions.
