COMMON USES:
This ointment is used to help treat moderate to severe atopic dermatitis (allergic skin rash).

HOW IT?S SUPPLIED:
1% cream

HOW IT WORKS:
This medicine works to stop the activation of T-cells and mast cells in the skin. This blocks the release of cytokines (chemicals in the body's immune system that can cause inflammation, redness and itching)

THINGS TO DISCUSS WITH YOUR DOCTOR:
* To be used in children ages 2 years and older.
* Should be used for short periods of time only.
* Should be used when other methods (shorter baths, hydrating creams) and therapies (steroid creams) haven?t worked well enough.
* May cause red skin, skin burning, and/or itchiness.
* Sometimes causes flu-like symptoms, allergic reaction, or headache.
* Make sure skin is dry before applying the medicine, then rub it in gently and fully.
* Use of this medicine may be associated with an increased risk of skin infections and rashes.
* Should not be used in children who have disorders of the immune system.
* May cause an increased risk of cancer.
* Try to avoid direct exposure to natural or artificial sunlight (tanning beds) while using this medicine.
