COMMON USES:
Treating children with absence (petit mal or staring spell) seizures

HOW IT'S SUPPLIED:
250-milligram gel capsules
250 milligram per 5-milliliter syrup

HOW IT WORKS
Helps control the abnormal brain wave activity that can cause absence (petit mal) seizures.

THINGS TO DISCUSS WITH YOUR DOCTOR:
* Giving with food or milk can lessen stomach upset.
* Common side effects include stomach pain, nausea, hiccups, vomiting, and loss of appetite
* Other possible side effects include drowsiness, sleeplessness, nervousness, dizziness, fatigue, headache and/or behavior changes.
* Use with caution in children who have either liver or kidney disease.
* May worsen myoclonic, tonic-clonic and other types of seizures.
* If this medicine causes a rash, contact your doctor immediately.
* Don?t stop the medicine suddenly, as this might make seizures worse.
