COMMON USES
Used to treat and prevent seizures (Usually added as a second drug.
Used to treat some types of pain.

HOW IT'S SUPPLIED
100, 300, and 400-milligram capsules
100, 300, and 400-milligram tablets
50 milligram per milliliter suspension

HOW IT WORKS:
Not known for sure.

THINGS TO DISCUSS WITH YOUR DOCTOR:
* May cause tiredness, dizziness, decreased balance, behavior problems and/or abnormal eye movements.
* May be taken with or without food.
* Should not be stopped suddenly as this may cause seizures to occur.
* Children less than 5 years old may require higher doses.
